Luego se le a\u00f1aden las casta\u00f1as peladas y limpias y se dejan cocer aproximadamente 1 hora con el agua justa para que al final de la cocci\u00f3n se hayan quedado casi secas. A\u00f1adimos el zumo de manzana y pasamos la mezcla por un pasapur\u00e9s si las casta\u00f1as han quedado suficientemente blandas, si no se puede, utilizaremos la batidora.
